Who We Serve

Built for founder-led B2B.
Not for everyone.

D3 is built for founder-led B2B companies at $500K–$50M revenue in life sciences, SaaS, software development, pharmaceutical, and medical device.

The methodology applies more broadly — but the tooling, language, case studies, and operator instincts on this site are tuned to that specific founder. If you're outside that band, we'll tell you on a call.

01 · The right fit

The ideal client profile.

One person, five conditions. If you match four of these five, we should be talking.

Revenue band $500K – $50M annual

Below $500K, our done-for-you retainer is overkill, but solo operators can start on our DIY or Coaching tiers. Above $50M, you've got internal teams — we'll refer up.

Decision-making Founder-led

Decisions still flow through the founder. The founder is the operator, the chief storyteller, and the deciding voice on marketing. Not a committee, not a board-approved roadmap.

Offer maturity Proven product or service

You've shipped, you have paying customers, you can describe who buys and why. If you're still hunting for product-market fit, that's a different conversation — we don't run growth on top of an unproven offer.

Industry Life sciences · SaaS · Software · Pharma · Med Device

Regulated and technical B2B where credibility, voice, and authority compound over time. Our tooling, case studies, and operator instincts are sharpest here.

Posture Wants a system, not a campaign

You're tired of one-off campaigns that end. You want an operating layer that compounds week after week. Systems compound. Campaigns end.

02 · Industries

Five sectors. One operating layer.

The methodology is the same. The language, the proof, and the playbooks are tuned to each sector's buyer.

L

Life Sciences

Biotech · Diagnostics · CROs

Founder-led biotech and life science companies where credibility and scientific voice carry the pipeline. Operators who know the science but need a system to make it visible.

S

B2B SaaS

Vertical SaaS · Founder-led

SaaS founders past product-market fit who've outgrown founder-led sales but aren't ready to hire a CMO. The operating layer that scales with the team.

D

Software Dev

Dev shops · Custom software

Software services firms and dev shops competing on capability, not commodity. WAVES installs the visibility system that turns expertise into pipeline.

P

Pharmaceutical

SMB pharma · Specialty

Smaller pharma operators who need operations-led marketing inside a regulated industry. We build the system; you stay compliant.

M

Medical Device

Class II/III · Diagnostics

Med device founders launching, repositioning, or scaling a device. The 30-day Onboarding Sprint installs the credibility layer regulatory marketing requires.

C

Solo Operators

Entrepreneurs · Consultants

Solo B2B operators, experts, and consultants building their personal brand. WAVES installs the DIY or Coaching foundation to scale your visibility without consuming your entire week.

03 · Why this client

Why founder-led, and why $500K–$50M.

Both ends matter. Here's what we learned over 150+ engagements.

Why founder-led

The founder is the operator, the chief storyteller, and the only voice that can't be replaced. WAVES installs around that voice — captured, repeatable, portable. You become the asset the system runs on.

What this means in practice: we won't onboard a marketing director who controls the founder's calendar. The founder sits for the voice intake, articulates the ICP in their own words, and signs off on weekly artifacts. If that's not how decisions get made at your company, we're the wrong fit.

Why $500K–$50M

Below $500K — the done-for-you system is overkill. You don't yet have the volume of conversations to feed a full retainer; you'd be building infrastructure for traffic that isn't coming. For solo operators and B2B consultants in this band, our self-serve DIY and Coaching tiers are designed to help you build the foundations first.

Above $50M — you've already got internal marketing teams, agency-of-record relationships, and a board involved in budget. WAVES still applies, but the engagement looks different (custom GTM, multi-brand, executive workshops) — we'll discuss on a call.

Inside that band: WAVES installs cleanly in 30 days, runs in 4 hours/week, and compounds. That's the sweet spot we built it for.

04 · Who we don't serve

Who we don't serve.

We turn down clients who aren't fits — early, in writing, before invoices get sent. It's how the brand stays clean.

  • Pre-revenue startups still hunting for product-market fit.

You need an iteration loop, not a marketing operating system. We'll refer you to founder coaches who specialize in that phase.

  • Marketing director–led companies (not founder-led).

If the founder isn't the one sitting for voice intake and signing off on weekly artifacts, the system doesn't compound the way it should.

  • Companies above $50M in revenue.

You've got internal teams. WAVES still applies but the engagement is custom — let's talk about whether we're the right partner or if we should refer up.

  • B2C / DTC companies.

We're built for B2B. The buyer journey, the engagement rhythm, and the proof artifacts are all wrong for consumer.

  • Anyone shopping for a one-off campaign.

We don't sell campaigns. Systems compound. Campaigns end. If you want a six-week burst with no operating layer behind it, we're not the fit.

  • Companies in industries where we have zero operating context.

If you're in financial services, real estate, hospitality, e-commerce, or anything outside our five named industries — the methodology still applies but our case studies and tooling won't be the strongest fit.
